Dr. Emily Annette Reese

Dr. Emily Annette Reese earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis, where she also worked as a veterinary assistant and volunteered with local shelters. During her clinical training, she developed special interests in dermatology, integrative medicine, and shelter medicine, including an externship at the Sacramento SPCA, and she is pursuing certification in small animal veterinary acupuncture through Chi University. Dr. Reese is passionate about the people-centered nature of veterinary medicine and is committed to compassionate care, client education, and emphasizing preventative care at every stage of a pet’s life. Outside of work, she enjoys reading fiction, playing board games, building puzzles, cooking, and spending time with her partner and their two rescued cats, Moosh and Ben.
